Delete your MARS account

Operated by Alif Retail Solutions Private Limited · CIN U62012KA2026PTC223257 · GSTIN 29ABGCA0424N1ZJ

You can delete your MARS account and the data attached to it at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both lead to the same deletion.

1. In the app — immediate

This is the fastest route and it needs nothing from us.

  1. Open MARS
  2. Go to the Profile tab
  3. Scroll to Delete account
  4. Confirm

The deletion runs straight away. You are signed out, and the account cannot be signed into again.

2. By email — if you no longer have the app

If you have uninstalled MARS, lost access to your number, or would simply rather we did it, email us:

We verify that the request comes from the account holder before deleting anything — usually by sending a one-time code to the registered number. We acknowledge within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with the DPDP Rules.

What is deleted

Erased entirely:

If you are a retailer, additionally:

Product photos, clip videos and store artwork are destroyed on our media host as well as in our database. Nothing is left behind at a public URL.

What is kept, and why

An empty marker. Your account row is not dropped. What remains is an internal identifier, the account type, and the dates the account was created and deleted — with every personal field erased. It holds no personal data, cannot identify you, and cannot be signed into. It exists so that the anonymised records below stay accountable.

Anonymised analytics. Aggregate counts — how many people viewed a product, tapped for directions, saved a shop — with no link back to you.

Records we are required to retain. Where Indian law requires a record to be kept for a fixed period, it is kept for that period and no longer.

There is no way to restore an account once it has been deleted. Signing up again with the same number creates a new, empty account.
